This was something of a challenge to me. A quilt that didn't want to tell me what it wanted, and a customer happy for me to do whatever I wanted. I settled on this all over feather to try and be sympathetic to the antique feel of the fabrics. This innocuous pattern is surprisingly time and thread consuming, but on the right quilt can add wonderful texture.
