Isn't it a stunning quilt? I was thrilled to be given the chance to quilt it, although it has been a learning experience. I would never have guessed how long it takes to work such a simple pattern around all the applique. The quilting is actually Decadant Swirls again, but it is hard to see. The idea was to enhance the applique, not to show off the quilting, and as such I think it is very successful. The density of this quilting makes it a custom quilting job.
