This is a small quilt made for a challenge. The theme was the poem Jabberwocky by Lewis Carrol. It is a nonsense poem, and I think this is what the Jabberwock would look like. The theme also requred the quilt to have texture and to be abstract. So the scales are very textural and the elements of the Jabberwock are disjointed. It is inteneded to show how the Jabberwock would feel as it attacked. It shows the details the victim would have seem as it approached, and the main rectangle is the scales up close and personal.
