"Tread lightly"

I have a love of maps and globes, and I wanted to make a sculpture for the Festival of Quilts. This was inspired by a saying about treading lightly and not damaging the Earth. The animal fabrics were chosen to illustrate that we aren't just treading on the Earth itself but also on the animals who share it with us.
